Pittsburgh indie dream pop outfit with a serious effort in Formation of Tides. Just a duo, these two trek into a fusion of shoegaze and 90's alt rock. A number of dance 80's inspired tracks also pop up from this album as well. Similarities to M83 are there.

Greatest Trio EVER...Tweets

Man it was pretty unanimous. Rush takes this one fair and square. Had to keep the trio win in Canada didn't you? I'm not mad though, there isn't anything wrong with the way Rush has done it. They are a trio powerhouse that as individual musicians are looked up to. Neil, Alex, and Geddy are top notch artists and deserve to be recognized as tops. But there were many out there that are close by. King's X, Nirvana, the Minutemen, The Police, The Beastie Boys, Pat Metheny Trio, Cream, SRV with 2X Trouble, and how could anyone ever forget Hendrix! Which version though. Experience or Band of Gypsies. Dang I'm getting a headache @joeyrope said it best...too hard to narrow one down...here are the tweets...
